Itchy rash?

Some cutting edge of new itchy skin on the review: question of sugar ? itchy skin my lab has extremely dry skin and irritated. I have bathed him a couple of days. its really annoying. Does anyone know anything I can put on them to make them leave with out purchasing something at the vet or to aid there?
